What is involved in a landscaping project?
Following a site visit, you should receive a quotation or estimate* for the work from your chosen landscaping contractor.
Once the scope and price for your project are agreed and accepted, you should agree on definite dates for the work to be carried out.
The dates, price and payment terms should be clearly stated in a contract between you and the landscaping contractor before work commences.
The landscaping contractor will order materials for your project along with any large equipment required such as a mini digger, dumper etc.
Skip(s) will be ordered to remove any waste materials from the site as work progresses.
The site will be cleared as necessary and any excavation work carried out. Construction work would be carried out first with any turfing, gravelling or planting taking place at the end of the project.
