Modern Country Garden, Clathymore
This project took place in garden of a new build country home, so it was a blank canvas with plenty of space.

Consultation & Concept
The large garden was laid to grass at a new build country property.
The clients wanted a patio with planters and a gazebo for shelter.
They were also considering a circular patio area incorporating a fire-pit.
Various designs and a variety of materials were considered for practicality and style.

Garden Features
Our design incorporated:-
- A main patio area created using grey casarta slate paving
- Raised beds created on two sides of the patio using concrete block and faced with slate verte drystack veneer
- A gazebo constructed in one corner of the patio area. Walls were added on two sides using weatherboard and plywood. The gazebo was topped with a roof, clad in felt and finished with attractive cedar shingles
- A path laid from the property to the patio area using pennant grey blocks to match other paths in the garden
- A circular patio in grey casarta slate paving, with planting bed at the rear, all edged with tegula pennant grey blocks.

Completed Garden Project
This project concentrated on two areas of the large country garden.
The main patio, with striking covered gazebo and planters positioned to enclose the area, provides an extremely attractive entertaining space for use throughout the year.
The circular patio benefits from a metal fire bowl, added by the clients, for longer evenings in the garden.
The materials were all chosen for style, practicality and to complement the country setting.
Carefully chosen plants in the semi-circular patio border and raised planters add colour and interest.
