This project took place in garden of a new build house so it was a blank canvas.
Consultation and Concept
The garden was a blank canvas at a new build property in Perth.
The client wanted a low maintenance garden but with opportunities to add colour with planting.
A variety of materials were considered for practicality and style.
Our design incorporated:-
Sleeper retaining walls to create planters of different heights at rear and sides of garden for feature planting or pots
Steps in sleeper wall to allow access to a small paved area at the top of planter
Curved sandstone patio in autumn brown shades edged with square tegula blocks
Quartz gravel for low maintenance with sandstone stepping stones to the steps
A small area of artificial lawn for colour and site for washing pole.
This blank canvas was transformed into a stylish garden with interesting shapes and heights.
The materials and colours chosen provided an attractive, practical and low maintenance garden.
The raised planters will provide plenty of opportunities to add colour with specimen planting or pots.
"Can’t fault them - from the office staff to the guys on the ground. Fantastic work ethic - punctual, clean & tidy, superb quality of workmanship. I am delighted with the result. Would highly recommend."
