Dundee Project - Piper Dam

We were asked to landscape our clients' existing rear garden in Piper Dam - creating a new, attractive patio space to complement the lawn.

Our clients' rear garden featured an old, tired paved area which lead from the rear of the property directly onto an expansive lawn. Our brief was to tidy and enhance the garden, introducing a new patio and landscaping the lawn in a way which emphasised the space and beauty already available.

Getting down to work, we pulled up the existing paving and steps, along with a small planting bed which was cluttering and restricting the size of the patio.

A new, larger silver birch sandstone patio was installed with steps up to the property's rear door and curved tegula edging where it met the lawn. The lawn itself was replaced with new turf and bordered with beach pebbles and planting beds. Finally, we built a stepping stone path across the grass to an arbour - a quiet spot for relaxation and contemplation.

The transformation unlocked the garden's size and space - without losing any of its colour, character or charm.
