Dundee City Project

We received a brief to redesign a block-paved yard at the rear of our clients' property - to complement an existing deck and enhance the overall appearance of the space.

The clients' original rear garden area consisted of a flat, block paved patio which led onto a raised deck. Whilst simple and functional, our clients felt the patio didn't blend well with their deck. After consultation, we drew up a plan to add style and character to property's outdoor space.

Work began with the complete removal of the block paving stones. Once clear, we installed the new patio: irregular square blocks of Midnight blue slate - a perfect complement to the softwood colours of the deck and fence.

To inject character into the patio, we installed two stylish features: a raised sandstone circle with an incorporated bench and a water feature bordered with pebbles and circular tegula kerb edging.

The new patio design accented the yard's timber deck and fencing and lent the space a new tone and texture. Our clients were thrilled with the work - and now have a relaxing, calming space in which sit back and enjoy the outdoors.

Customer testimonial

"From the initial approach after viewing your website, through to completion and inspection of the work, everything was handled in a very professional manner.  The staff were first class and nothing was too much trouble for them."
